Cinnamon Spiced Apple Chips
Red Gala or Fuji apples are great for this salad.
4 apples of your choice
3 tbs cinnamon sugar
- Preheat oven to 100°C fan forced. Lightly spray two large wire racks with cooking oil and place over a baking tray.
- Using a mandolin or sharp knife, cut 2 apples into paper-thin rounds. Place in single layer onto the wire racks, making sure they don’t touch. Sprinkle with half the cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 90 mins or until apples feel dry. Note that they will become crisp on cooling. Remove to a tray to cool and repeat with remaining apples and cinnamon sugar.

Tip To make your own cinnamon sugar, combine 1 tablespoon white sugar with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
Storage Tip Apple chips store for up to 2 weeks. Best stored in an airtight glass jar. Alternatively, you can line an airtight container with foil.
